Relayers pay out on the destination chain first and are repaid from Relay's depository; users pay a fee on each fill.

Relay moves value between chains by having a relayer front the destination-side payment and settle afterwards, which is why its fills arrive as ordinary swaps rather than as a lock-and-mint. It is the busiest bridge on Robinhood Chain by a wide margin: HoodScan’s index attributed 1,350,929 fills, about $182M and 176,101 distinct traders to Relay over the seven days to 18 September 2026, with a further 953,298 fills routed through it by fomo. Its depository contract is why a large share of cross-chain orders appear to originate from one address.
