What Saffron Finance does
- Fixed side: deposit a Uniswap v3-style LP position, get a premium upfront
- Variable side: pay the premium, receive all fees the position earns
- Vaults run for a fixed term; both sides withdraw at maturity
The protocol takes a fee set per vault by minting extra variable-side tokens to itself at settlement (e.g. 12.5% in the docs example).
Saffron is a fixed-yield primitive. Each vault runs for a fixed term on one Uniswap v3-style LP position: the fixed side deposits it and takes a premium upfront, while the variable side pays that premium and collects all its fees, carrying the risk of the difference. That makes it one of the few places on Robinhood Chain offering a defined rate rather than whatever the underlying farm pays. SFI, the protocol token, is on Ethereum.
