What HD Protocol does

• Register .hood names as on-chain NFTs, paid yearly in ETH (0.012–0.020 ETH)
• Point a name at a wallet, set text records and a primary name
• Send ETH or tokens to a .hood name
• Each name gets an ERC-6551 account; SDK and MCP server for integrators

Registration and renewal fees in ETH go to the protocol beneficiary wallet; revenue sharing to HD stakers is described as coming soon.

HD Protocol registers .hood names on Robinhood Chain, holding each as an ERC-1155 token in HoodRegistry, with commit-reveal registration through HoodRegistrar and fixed ETH pricing by name length — 0.012 to 0.020 ETH a year, one-year minimum. Every name carries an ERC-6551 token bound account whose allowlist covers the Robinhood stock tokens plus USDG and WETH, and the name art and metadata are rendered on chain. The naming layer is what has shipped: the project’s own roadmap still lists the trader profiles, stock terminals, social app, x402 payments and the .stock and .trader TLDs as upcoming.
