NVDA stock token vs NVDA meme coins on Robinhood Chain
Two kinds of NVDA on one chain, and how to tell which one you are looking at.
On Robinhood Chain, NVDA exists twice over. There is the NVDA stock token, issued by Robinhood, which represents NVIDIA shares and trades onchain around the clock. And there are the meme coins launched against it on launchpads such as Pons and LONG, which carry NVDA in their name or their story but are not shares of anything. HoodScan tracks both and labels them differently, because they behave nothing alike.
The NVDA stock token
The stock token is a single ERC-20 contract on Robinhood Chain. Its onchain name follows Robinhood's pattern, NVIDIA • Robinhood Token, and it trades against USDG and ETH in spot pools on Uniswap v3 and v4 and a handful of other DEXs. Its value is anchored to the NVIDIA share price; onchain pools drift around that price outside market hours and settle back when the market opens. Its holders and pool liquidity are orders of magnitude above any meme coin on the chain.

The NVDA meme coins
A meme coin on NVDA is a separate token with its own contract, launched on a launchpad. What ties it to NVDA is its launch pool: that pool is quoted in the NVDA stock token rather than in USDG or ETH, so the coin is priced in NVDA and moves with the stock as well as on its own trading. HoodScan calls such a coin anchored to NVDA and lists every one of them on the NVDA meme board, ranked by credible value rather than by headline market cap.

Coins can anchor to other coins too. A coin launched against $AI, which was itself launched against NVDA, sits two steps from the stock; HoodScan shows that chain on the coin's page and on the board, so a coin's distance from the real equity is never hidden.

How to tell them apart
- Contract. The stock token is one contract address, shown on its stock page. Any other contract with NVDA in its name is not the stock.
- Name. The stock token's onchain name ends in Robinhood Token. Meme coins carry names of their own, such as Artificial Inu or Compute Token, and their own ticker.
- What backs the price. The stock token is anchored to the NVIDIA share price. A meme coin's price rests on its own pool, so its fully diluted value can be many times what that pool could ever pay out.
- Where it trades. The stock token has deep USDG and ETH pools across several DEXs. A meme coin usually has one launch pool, quoted in the stock token.
- How HoodScan titles it. The stock token page is titled NVDA stock token on Robinhood Chain. A meme coin's page is titled with the coin and its anchor, such as $AI on NVDA.
Reading the numbers
- Price. On the stock page it is the price in the token's deepest pool. On a coin page it is the coin's price in dollars, derived through its NVDA pool.
- Market cap and FDV. The stock token shows an onchain market cap: minted supply times price. Meme coins show FDV, total supply times price, which is why a coin with a few thousand dollars of liquidity can show a seven-figure FDV.
- Rank value. HoodScan ranks meme coins by the smallest of FDV, 150 × 24h volume and 500 × liquidity, so a coin cannot rank above what its trading and depth support. A coin whose FDV is more than three times its rank value carries a thin flag.
- Holders. A stock token's holders reflect real distribution. A new coin's holders are mostly its launch buyers, and the count can fall as fast as it rose.
Checking a contract address
Paste any address into HoodScan's search, or open /token/<address>. If it is the NVDA stock token, the page says so. If it is a coin anchored to NVDA, the page names the coin and the stock, for example NEKO on NVDA, with a link to the full board. Addresses are shown lowercase, one URL per token, so the same contract never appears under two spellings.
